Thankfuls

I first have to start out by saying a huge thanks to my big sister who sat on phone with me Sunday night and taught how to change my blog background colors and walked me through the whole process of where to find paper and how to download it. Now I don't have to wait for Brandon to have time to change my blog and he is thrilled that he doesn't have to do it anymore so THANK YOU KIM you are awesome and the best sister in the whole world.

Home grown tomatoes! Need I say more? They are the best and I love just walking out the door and having them at my fingertips.

Our neighbor is willing to watch Buster while we are on vacation. It is nice when someone who really likes him is taking care of him , we know he will be loved and treated just as good as if we were here.

It has been a very wierd summer not going to Utah, it hasn't felt like a normal summer and I miss my family. Luckily, we will be seeing mine and some of Brandons while we are gone. When we are done at Yellowstone, we are driving into northern Utah to spend a couple of days with family before we head back home.

Jordan is going to EFY Outdoor Youth Adventure. We are dropping the boys off in Rexburg on our way to Yellowstone. He is going with two of his good friends and they will spend the week in the grand tetons rafting, rock climbing, hiking, repelling, and having some great spiritual experiences. I am hoping that this week will strengthen his testimony and that he will be open to letting the spirit touch him. It sounds like so much fun I wish I could go to, but he would die if his mom came too. heehee

We got a porch swing a few weeks ago. Family home evening was spent putting together and now we are just enjoying sitting in the shade in the backyard and reading or watching the kids. It is wonderful!

Working hard

The finished product

We are off to Yellowstone tommorow. Since I am not big on camping I am very glad that we found a KOA that has an indoor pool, and we will have showers and bathrooms and lots of conveniences. We are going with a family from our ward so it should be a fun trip! I will post lots of pictures when we get back. ADIOS!

I'm with you on the fact it's a weird summer not going to Kanab! I won't get my trip south this summer and I'm kind of bummed about it!
It sounds like your trip will be fabulous! Be careful and have the time of your life!!! Can't wait to see pictures of it!
