October thankfuls!

I haven't done these in a very long time and I feel like I really need to write down all the things I am thankful for lately.

Brandon was ordained a high priest, and set apart in his new calling on Sunday. The bishop ordained him and the stake president set him apart. Both of these blessing were so wonderful. They made me realize just how many blessing our family can receive if Brandon serves diligently in the bishopric, which I have no doubt that he will. I am looking forward to all the strength it can bring to our family.

This week has been parent teacher conferences for the kids so we had half days all week. It was so nice to go to each teacher and have good reports for all the kids. They are all doing great in school and I am so proud of them. It is a wonderful feeling as a mom to hear the teachers talking about how nice and respectful my kids are.

Soccer has come to an end. The kids both had great seasons. Taysons team won all of their games which was a wonderful change from last year when they harldy won any.

Brittins busy season has come to an end. Volleyball ended last week and soccer ended on Saturday. I am glad I talked her into to playing volleyball because she ended up really liking it and excited for next season. She is sure glad to be done having two practices a day and a game every night between the two sports. Their soccer team struggled a bit but ended up having a good season and she enjoyed it which is the most important anyway. She played mid-field most of the season and made alot of good assists.

I'm grateful for soccer to be over too. Two kids in soccer sure keeps my going, and you added another sport to that as well, I am impressed.

When Wade was set apart he also had a wonderful blessing that ended with the admonishment to serve diligently. It caught my eye when you said it that way. It has become a motto in our home of how to serve in our callings.
