This is my favorite time of year to cook. I love to cook soups and have some really good recipes. I love to come home on a cold day and cook a big pot of soup that will last for a few days. I found this soup on a cooking blog that I check periodically and we tried it last night. It was very yummy! This was a hit with my whole family. It was very easy to make and I had most of the ingredients on hand. If you have a large family you might want to double it. My family of 5 pretty much finished it off in one meal. Enjoy!
White Chili
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 med. onion, chopped
1 1/2 t. garlic powder
1 T. olive oil
2 cans Great Northern Beans, drained
1 can chicken broth
2 cans chopped green chilies
1 t. salt
1 t. ground cumin
1 t. dried oregano
1/2 t. pepper
1 cup sour cream (8 oz.)
1/2 cup whipping cream
Saute chicken, onion, and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add beans, broth, chilies, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 min. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream and whipping cream.

Yum - sounds good! Matt and I love soup but my kids aren't big soup fans. I keep hoping they will grow into it!
Oooh, thanks for that recipe, Tammy. I am a BIG soup lover, especially fall and winter. I can't wait to try it. I'm also a bean lover. (inherited)
