My dad went to the doctor earlier this week and had a stress test done on his heart. I guess while he was having the test his chest started hurting so they stopped and made him an appointment in St. George for today to have further testing. At his appointment today they did an angiogram(sp) and found that two of his arteries/veins have blockages. They were able to insert stints into both to open them back up without having to do open heart surgery.
I have been thinking about and praying for him alot the past couple of days and I am just soooo thankful that he went to have his stress test when he did, and that they could place the stints in without surgery. Most of all that he is doing well and will come home tommorow. It is very hard to be such a long way from home when things like this happen and to not be able to help and just be there to for my mom and Kim to lean on.
I am looking forward to many more years of my dad being around so we can enjoy him.
Love you dad!

Timing is everything! I'm glad your dad is doing well and they found this it now! Here's to MANY more years with your dad!!!
Glad they were able to catch it now, and that it is not more serious! (Whew!)
Hard to think of parents being mere mortals, isn't it?
