Yellowstone

Well, I have finally taken the time to sort through the pics and pick out some of the ones that I like. They are in no particular order, I just added them as we took them.

The whole group (minus Brand who was taking the pic) at a rest stop by Cour de lane Idaho.

The kids playing on the rocks at the rest stop.

The boys ready to go to OYA

We made it!

This is "Tim" our trip mascot (named by Brit), he got in our van at one of our many stops and just hung with us for the whole day.

Jordan throwing the football around

This is the firehole river. It is in Yellowstone and is fed by hotsprings. It was a nice temp and you could get in and it the current would take you down a winding path. It was really fun.

Miniature golf! This is where Tayson spent his every waking moment when we were at camp.

These bikes were a fun way to spend time in the campground!

Our first animal sighting.

This elk was HUGE! It was sitting in the shade about 30 feet from us across a river.

The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

This guy walked right by my window, I was a little worried that he was going to stick his head in, but luckily he just wandered by.

This gyser is located behind Old Faithful and was very cool, Old Faithful went off for about 1 minute, this gyser went off for a full 15 minutes. It was very cool!

Morning Glory Pond

Old Faithful

I think this is about the only picture that Brandon was in, lovin the mountain man look!

We let Tayson take pics with our old digital and he took some great shots. It was really fun to download his pics and see Yellowstone from his point of view.

The best part of our whole trip was the pool where Tayson finally became a swimmer. He had a great time swimming back and forth. Best investment ever - swim mask that covers his nose so the water can't get in.

Mom and Brit hangin at the pool

Jordan getting picked up from OYA, looks like he had a tiring week.

Adios Yellowstone!

Looks like you had a great time. I wish we could have come. Maybe next year. It looks like something the kids would like. We could get Ashlee and Stuart there if we don't have to sleep on the ground. (ha, ha)

How fun for your family! I've yet to go to Yellowstone - I can't wait until I do. However, I'm not sure I would remain calm with a HUGE buffalo next to my window! The pics are great! Thanks for sharing!

I haven't been since I was eight or nine, but those pics bring back vivid memories. I looks like you had a lot of fun.

How did Jordan enjoy OYA? I've never heard of it before but it sounds like it would be a lot of fun for an outdoorsy type kid.
