Brandon mentioned to me the other day that I need to date my thankfuls so when I print them I will be able to refer to certain dates in my life and see what was making me happy worried ect.... I won't have to search through all of them to find a certain posting from a specific time period. It makes sense to me since this really is my journal that I will someday print and give to my kids as a remembrance of their childhood. With that said I am very thankful that I have found the blogging world and have my own family blog. I am not a journal writer so I feel like this kind of takes the place of writing in a personal journal. It also makes me more aware of the fun and not so fun things that happen in our lives so I can blog about them. It has helped me so much when living so far from family to feel like I am not completely out of the loop.
We still have a couple of weeks before school starts and I am not ready to go back. This week begins the back to school trainings and the PTA meetings to get things planned for the beginning of the year, but at least we still have time until we have to be up and out the in the early morning. I am going to be taking and picking up kids from 3 different schools so it should make for and interesting and busy year.
I was able to escape to Seattle last weekend for our girls weekend. It was really nice to get away. I go with the same people every year and we shop, shop, shop and eat out and get pedicures and just mainly have fun without the husbands and kids. We usually try to go to the temple, but it was closed while we were there. Bummer!
Brandon works so hard and takes such good care of us financially. He is the hardest working guy I know and sometimes gets burned out from working so hard at work and as the Elders Quorum president, but he never complains and just puts his all into everything he does. He is the best husband ever and I love him!
We are done shopping for school clothes and supplies. I really don't do much school clothes shopping since the kids can wear their shorts through mid October and as fast as they grow it's better to wait and get them jeans when they are ready to wear them. It's nice to have that part of back to school out of the way.
