Girls camp 2010

For girls camp each year we go to a ranch over by Seattle owned by the church called Ensign Ranch. We usually stay in cabin type houses but this year we were in the tee pees. We were a little worried with our weather being so rainy lately, but they did great. It did rain one afternoon and a few beds got wet, but we all survived.

Girls camp was as always was such a special experience with a perfect combination of fun and spiritual.

Brittin had her broken foot which was a little challenging but she did great. I am sure her leg and arm muscles are sore, she was a real trooper.

We came home with not too many mosquito bites and I could still walk by the end of the week so all was well. I was a part of stake camp this year so it was kind of a different experience for me, not being right in camp with the girls, but very fun just the same.

They have a slip and slide, canoeing and a rock climbing wall to keep the girls busy, but Brit wasn't able to do those things this year so I didn't either. So no pics of that stuff...sorry!

Our camp theme was The Wizard of Oz. Follow the yellow brick road.

Stake leaders... what a great group of ladies!
I had a blast hanging out with these ladies all week.

Me... as a rappin' munchkin for our skit! A little scary huh!
I embarrassed my daughter with my awesome moves..haha

Lots of fun crafts to do!

Brit and I spent some fun time making hair crafts...flowers and headbands.
This is what she did since she could not hike.

Brittin's ride! The only way to get your stuff from the parking lot to the tee pees is by handcart... they made a fun ride for Brittin when she got too tired of cruching around.

Sage Hills ward ready for their skit!

Ensign Ranch is the place that my dad would love to serve a mission some day. It is a beautiful ranch and I think he and my mom would love it. Hopefully they can!
