Vegas baby!

Wow, I was just reading another blog and saw their blog list and it said I haven't updated for two weeks. Could it really be that long, I think that is a no-blogging record for me, and I guess that means it is time to update.
I do somewhat of an excuse as to why I haven't blogged. I went to Las Vegas with a really hot guy for a business conference.

Me and my hubby in Vegas

I did not stay for two weeks though so the other part is I am just lazy and haven't blogged so there now you know!
Las Vegas was fabulous. I was able to rest and relax and even get a little shopping done. A few of the highlights of our trip were..

We saw a couple of shows the best one being the Blue Man Group. It was soooo good. I even got my picture with a blue man but when we got back to the room and were looking through the pics the one of me was not there. Bummer! The one I took of Brandon with him was so I guess that will have to do for me too. (the pics of us will have to wait since they are on Brandon's phone and he hasn't had time to download them.)

We also saw the human body exhibit. It was soooo fascinating. I am amazed how much stuff we have inside us and still wondering how it all fits. The human body is an amazing thing. From tendons running all the way through is like strings to intestines that are incredibly long, and the most amazing thing to me is the brain. It is so amazing that a ball of flesh can control everything.

I got to have a spa treatment of my choice, I planned on being brave and having a massage, but I just could not do it, so I opted for a pedicure, which was wonderful. I now have very pretty feet and toes, too bad they are covered with shoes and socks all the time. heehee!

Brandon got the fastest lap time riding go carts at the conference. He did great but got taken to wall in the final lap of the final race.

I got to see my parents and my sister and her husband. They drove down to spend some time with me. It was fun visiting and shopping with them, we had alot going on so I hope they didn't feel to neglected when we skipped out on them a few times. Just want to tell them thanks for taking the time to come see us. See you this summer!

I got a text (well quite a few actually) from a cute little boy with this picture of him. He lost his top tooth eating waffles on Saturday morning. Too cute, every time I look at him I just have to giggle he looks like such a hillbilly.

We had a fabulous time, but I am glad to be back home. A huge thanks to those people who kept our kids. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Sounds like a great vacation. John and I have talked about taking our kids to blue man group show. We've watched them on line but not in person yet. And the whole fort thing in the living room, family room, bed room, dining room table, tramp, etc...., is very normal for this family too:)
