We were able to travel to the tri-cities to the cannery yesterday and stock up on our food storage. It was really fun but very tiring. We brought home 119 #10 cans full of stuff. Now to find a good place to store it all that has an even temp throughout the year.
My kids did great with us being gone all day yesterday. Jordan was in charge and they had soccer pictures and games happening. He did a good job getting them to all their activities. Luckily most were only few blocks away so they could walk. Thanks Jordan for being willing to give up a Saturday.
My sister called to remind me that I haven't blogged for a week! I deserve it since I usually call and bug her about the same thing. I am so thankful for her, she is the best sister and would do anything for me. She is great at giving advice about the teenage years since she has been through them. I wish she would move closer to me.
Kids who are willing to mow the lawn even if it is with scissors! Tayson and Brit took scissors out to get a head start on the lawn mowing. It kept them entertained for quite some time.
Two days in a row of awesome almost 80 degree weather. Tayson took advantage by running through the sprinkers. What a cute boy!
My parents will be here on Friday. Yipee! I am going to Seattle to pick them up and do some sight seeing. Brandon and the kids will stay home since they all have things going this weekend they could not get out of. It will be fun showing my parents around Seattle, the space needle, tulip fields, pike place market etc... They are staying for about 10 days so we will get lots of visiting and fun in while they are here. I will be sure and take lots of pictures so you can see all the fun we had.
I promise to post more this week. I have taken my camera to our soccer games and then realized I did not even pull it out and take any pics. So I pledge to be better. I really need to a new camera that can zoom in and take good action shots. If any of you have one that you love, let me know what kind. I don't want to spend a fortune but I would like a nice one with a good lense.

I am so excited for you that your mom and dad are going to visit you! I remember living in California no where near family and it was VERY rare to get a visit from anyone, but when we did it was a BLAST! ENJOY, ENJOY, ENJOY!!!!
Go, food storage woman!! Impressive! Have fun with your family. Mine hasn't been out in over a year now...boo!
I am going to have to use the "clipping the grass with scissors" thing when the kids tell me they are bored...
