Tammi... I love you...

Tammi, I have thought often what to get you to show you how much I love you. Presents I could buy can not compare the gift you have been to me; a purchased gift could not convey what is in my heart.

Your beautiful eyes and glowing smile are far beyond my ability to adequately adorn with gifts. The gifts I can wrap for you are no equal to you making me a Husband and a Father; two roles I'm not even close to being perfect in, but they are roles that I try to live up to everyday after your example. The inspiration you provide in your role as a Mother and a Wife instill in me the desire to become more than I am… to be more like you.

I need you; I need you as often as I need to breathe. Each day I look forward to the time I am able to spend with you, as I receive so much joy being in your company. I look for every opportunity to hear you laugh and see you smile, even if I have to start it with a tickle.

I love that you put my life before yours, like when you make me something I like for dinner even though I will be the only one eating it. You are special to me not only because of all you do for me, but because you have your boundaries that even I can not cross, like how you are willing to kiss me but unwilling to drink after me.

My thoughts of you are always summed up with love; I love how everyone who knows you loves you. I love you for loving your family so much. I love you for having such a great relationship with your incredible parents. I love your talent for your callings in church. I love how you always defend those you love. I love you because you help me more than I help you. I love you because of all your beauty. I love you for the fun we have shared together in life. I love you because you are married to someone who is imperfect, but you are still perfectly happy.

Today I want you to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I love you. I love you with all my heart; you are the love of my life, the mother of my children, the woman I will spend eternity with.
