I made it through another lesson today in Gospel Doctrine! These chapters were a little more challenging but I learned so much. Who knew that Christopher Columbus was a man of god and had the spirit with him while discovering the new world, I didn't learn that part in history class.
We made it through church and everyone did a great job on their assignment! I taught my lesson, Brandon taught a lesson in Elders quorum, Jordan talked in sacrament meeting, Tayson talked in primary and Brittin gave the scripure and Article of Faith in primary. It has been a stressful week for me and I was so thankful to get through today.
New tires on my van! It is still snowy and icy and I am grateful that I can drive safely and not worry. Now I just have to worry about the other people not sliding into me.
My heater, wool socks and hot chocolate! This past week it has been staying in single digits and I am so thankful to come home to a warm house, put on my wool socks and drink hot chocolate, it is like heaven.
Brandon! He is the best husband and he is always making me laugh. He has been my biggest cheerleader in my new calling and has helped me prepare and feel more confident in my abilities. I am so thankful that he is such a hard worker and provides so well for our family.
My kids! I cannot imagine life without them. They keep me smiling! They are the best kids and I am so proud of each one of them. I am honored to be their mother!

Tammi, It was great to hear from you!!!!! Thanks for writing on my blog so that I could look at yours. Wow, your kids are getting older. However, you look just as young as you did when we lived in Wenatchee. Sunday School teacher.........very Scary!!!! I suppose that I will be happy that I am in Primary even if we didn't have four teachers and the music leader show up! I think I can handle that stress a little bit better. Love your blog, Kristen
I love your thankfuls! So are you making it a weekly thing now? If so, I'm way excited. There's something so great about reading what people are thankful for. It's kind of uplifting. I'm so happy your lesson went well! I still can't imagine :) But read my post and you'll see our Sunday was quite eventful too :)
Taralee stole my comment! I too was wondering if we will be hearing thankfuls on a regular basis. Taralee started the weekly thing, I just ripped it off, so it would be fun to hear them.
Hey Tammi! Loved this post. Congrats on doing well with your first lesson. I am sure it will get easier as the weeks go by!
I am so glad that you have started a blog. It is so fun to be able to stay updated with family that we dont see as often. It seems like you have a great family. I'm glad its you and not me teaching gospel doctrine. That is one calling that scares me to death.
