christmas 2009

We had a wonderful christmas this year. We were able to travel to Utah and spend christmas with family. The drive was long but the roads were dry and we were able to stop and see Brandons parents, brother and grandparents on our way. We spent christmas with my family in Kanab. It was great fun and Jordan got to tinker with his truck and get it ready to come home with us. We played lots of games and ate lots of junk and just laughed alot.
Santa found us even in Kanab. It was a great time spent with family and we even got family pics while we were there. We took lots of pics so I will tell the story with them, see below...

Here are the happy riders as we are leaving Wenatchee for our long drive. Minus Jordan who had a magazine in front of his face so we couldn't take his picture.

We started our Christmas eve with new Pj's and then Tayson had put together a family home evening lesson about the birth of Jesus the week before, so he gave his lesson to the whole family on christmas eve. He drew pictures of the Nativity and we all talked about what each part of the story meant, he did a great job.

Then gma had lots of games and christmas trivia that kept us laughing well into the night.

Santa certainly found us giving each of us some great gifts. I got a beautiful picture of the Salt lake Temple, and the first pieces of the willow tree nativity that I have wanted forever.

Brandon got a new toy (Droid phone), some clothes, and an alarm clock that projects the time onto the wall (we both love it), he had a great time surfing the web and downloading apps during our vacation.

Tayson got a nintendo DSi, and some K'nex, clothes, connect 4x4, he was a happy camper.

Brittin got a dress that she has been eyeing for a while, disney sing it pop hits, a coat, and some clothes.

Jordan got boots, money, clothes, and to drive his truck around. What more could a 16 year old want. He bought a truck while in Utah this summer that he hadn't seen since then so he was glad to go down and drive his truck. It will be up here in a few weeks, he cant wait!

We spent the rest of our time playing lots of games, sledding, working on Jordans truck, visiting family, shopping, and taking pictures. I posted one at the top of my blog (about time for something new up there don't you think.) It will have to act as our christmas card, since I failed to get them sent out this year. I posted more pics on facebook so go take a look. It is always nice to spend time with family, thanks for having us!
