Summer days

Yesterday we decided it was a good day to have a family outing, so after the kids had their dental check-ups in the morning, we picked up Brandon from work and headed too Manson to Blueberry fields. This is a neat little restaurant that overlooks the blueberry fields and they have great food. Hamburgers with blueberry mayo (I was a little hesitant at first but they were really good) homemade fries and fresh fruit shakes...it doesn't get better than that. It was nice eating on the veranda overlooking the green valley of fruit fields.

Then off we headed to Desert Canyon for some golf. They have a great putting course. We played eighteen holes and had a great time. We started out pretty good but by the 14th hole we were getting pretty crazy. That is about the time that I lost my ball in the water. We had fun trying to hit it into the air over the various rock formations and see who could get it closest to the hole. I was a little afraid for the cars sitting above because Brittin has quite a swing.

Here we go!

Jordan showing us his mad skills

I wish I would have been close enough to goose him!

Watch out for that water

Tayson was our water blocker so we didn't loose all our balls in it. Mine was the only one that got through after ricocheting off a rock first.

Wooo...what a hit Tayson

Look at that form and concentration..heehee

View of the course

Watch out cars, Brittin is golfing!

We had a great day and got back into town just in time for Brittin to go to soccer practice and Tayson and I to attend the ice cream social at our school. It was so nice to just show up and not be in charge, for the past four years this has been a crazy day getting ready for the social, I think I may be a little tooo excited to be done with all that. Now only a few days left of summer I just can't bring myself to admit that I have to get back into a routine and the craziness of school so I will just continue to be in denial at least for a few more days.
