Busy times

This past few weeks have been the busiest ever. It seems like I barely have time to sit down anymore let alone feed my blog addiction. With soccer season in full swing and the busiest PTA month ever, it is crazy around here. I just keep saying to myself only 1 month left, only 1 month left. I know I shouldn't wish my life away, but I can wish the craziness away, right?

I just keep thinking of a talk given by Sister Beck (I think) in the October general conference titled "Mother's who know". Of all the talks this one had the biggest impact on me. If you didn't read it please do. She has a wonderful way of telling us not to let life get in the way of raising kids. They are number one, and it is up to us to teach and nurture them and find a balance in our lives.

Sometimes it just seems like I am stretched so thin trying to spend time with each person or thing that needs my time. I am sure all other mothers will agree. Although some days I would like to change my name from mom to a name that no one knows, I wouldn't trade being a mom for anything in the whole world.

Okay enough rambling, I hope everyone had a happy mothers day and was spoiled rotten. I was and I love my family so much for making it a special day where I was so thankful to have the name MOM!

Know what you mean, even without young children, life is very busy.I am slower that you, of course. Thanks for the tip on the article, sounds good. Glad to see you are blogging often. Love it.

I'm the same way! Especially when you said you want to change your name to something no one knows. Some days that I hear it 1000 times, I finally say..."MY name is...NOTHING :)" The girls get a little confused haha! Sister Becks talk was one of my favorites at the time. She's awesome!
